Dürkheimer Nonnengarten Rieslaner Auslese

Powerful nose of botrytis orange marmalade, honey, ripe peach, and apricot. Interestingly to me, no noticeable petrol. Sweet but with high acid and some light tannin giving restraint. Fruit character is more citrus driven on the palate with loads of lime and orange. Very long.

Tasty well aged Pfalz Durkheimer Reieslaner Auslese

Rieslaner is quickly becoming a favorite of mine. It has the potential for whimsically textured wines that literally feel as though they dance across your palate. Mouth watering, tingling acidity. I'm honestly in love. So much pleasure in one bottle.
