Semi-Dry Finger Lakes Riesling

My first sip was a lesson in tart juicy fruit! Wow did my lips pucker. It softened after that with a very "green" fruitiness. Lots of honeydew, pineapple, and to me, an off-putting floral note that was like eating a mouthful of dandelions. Not my favorite Riesling, but passable.

Pear and tropical fruit. Sweetness as you'd expect, but balanced by acidity.

Nice weight. Honey from Botrytis. Moderate to low acidity. Nice, pretty Riesling fruit. At Lemongrass in Syracuse, NY

It’s a bit oily and clingy. It needs to be super cold otherwise the flavors tend to fall apart. Not bad but misses the mark.

Nice balance. Honey, grass, fruit.

Great wine from the Finger Lakes

Delicious, slightly sweet Riesling. $12.50 per bottle. Excellent with sushi or in its own.

Great semi-dry wine. Great table wine.
