Rosso del Veronese Corvina Blend

R: tuilé, jambe longue N: syrup, fraise B: pas sec, peu tannin et acide

Light ruby with rose toned edges. The nose is thick with red raspberry and strawberry, spiked with licorice, and tobacco leaf spice it wanes into medicinal (from the 14% abv?). The palate is light to medium bodied, viscous from the alcohol, with supple, and barely there tannin.

2009. Surprised by the delicate texture of this wine. Dried red fruits, leather, vaguely medicinal. The elevated VA actually lifts the fruit in a pleasant way. My only issue is the slightly out of balance alcohol, but overall, it's delicious.

Nicely balanced, robust and delicious. The opened bottle was still delicious 4 days later!

Fruit jam, spice, olive, herbs. Medium acidity and tannin.

Funky

A great juicy weeknight wine. Slightly on the jammy side but at this price point, it delivers a fun casual wine.

Crunchy red berries on the nose and palate. But then followed by a really engaging floral notes as well that give it a fun twist. Food friendly and paired well with some grilled pork. I will be back for more, especially at this price range.

アマローネの下級品らしいけど、美味しい

Got to try this one at @Club Pélicano and it was excellent. Nice and smooth, good amount of dry and yet robust but not overpowering. Would get again.
