I figured that with their vast resources, this top of the line Gallo can’t be bad. It did not disappoint. Good concentration with lavish oak that’s well integrated. Supple yet robust on the palate. Fresh acidity and fine grained tannins. A lot to like here.

This wine is just drop dead delicious, with fruit from Barelli, Frei and Monte Rosso, it is drop and complex, just a hint of soft vanilla oak with a long balanced finish. Great with a Burger Dog on the 14th tee at Silverado!
