Goes with virtually any good and any group of friends.

There's a lot on front end, prompting a lift in your brows at the first sip. Bouquet is inviting. The end is a bit mild

Wonderful fruit still in shape
Good aging now 16 years old

Old world character in a new world wine. Blackberry and black cherry flavors stand out with leather and oak accents. Surprising and enjoyable.

Had forgotten that I liked sangiovese - this reminded me. :-)

CA Sangiovese is so much different than the Italian style. Very ripe.
