No wood. Not much merlot flavor. A pleasant red but not a vintage worthy bottle.

This was great with and without food. Little Oregon ashiness. Enjoyed quite a bit.

With such a sparkly and fragrant nose, the body is surprisingly rich and spicy. Wonderful with the steak frites here!

Excellent. 2011 on NYE. Need to get more. Trumps Joel Gott, which is also good. This is just smoother.

Was good. Dry. Could have been served a little cooler.

2005-Grapey/floral aroma, tastes of black cherry with a hint of butter. Slightly dry, a bit tart when first opened, but very smooth after letting it breathe. Impressed by this one.

More interesting than most Merlots I can remember. None of the boring this varietal is known for. Fuller. Not too soft. I Iike.
