Pear, soft citrus, gunpowder, palate grip, tiny bit floral. These guys make really good PG. Their PB is even better.

St. Michael-Eppan’s 2017 Pinot Grigio is laced with aromas and flavors of ripe pear, honey and yellow flowers. Long and luscious on the palate, the 2017 is close in quality to the more expensive, top of the line Auger Pinot Grigio, and that’s almost never the case. $16.00 (Ian D'Agata, Vinous, December 2018)

Proper higher altitude Pinot Grigio from the Alto Adige with all of the depth, intensity and complexity you would expect.

Look, Pinot Grigio is not a serious wine. But giving this one 9.0 because it is perfect for what it is - a light friendly white wine to drink with friends.
