Finished dry at first, and sweetens as you drink. I'm not a huge fan of blends usually, but this was great! This was the 2009 vintage.

What a gorgeous color on this 7 year old blend. Deep Ruby/ purple with a brick rim.

Wonderful nose of red currants, blackberries, blueberries, blackberries, sweet cherries, vanilla, cedar, licorice, leather, earth, chocolate, tar, mediterranean spices and black pepper.

Full-bodied, smooth and velvety, with medium plus acidity and gorgeous legs.

Dry and fruity on the palate with blueberries, blackberries, cherries, strawberries, cranberries, oak, light vanilla, spices, licorice, leather and black pepper.

Long finish with smooth, velvety tannins (after an hour), and tart cherries.

This blend of Syrah, Petite Sirah, Grenach, Mourvedre and Viognier, has aged very nicely, and now has a nice mouth feel.

Enjoyed it by itself, but could be a nice food wine. It has some extra acidity at the end, which makes it interesting.

Needs an hour in a decanter to "wake up".

13.5% alcohol by volume.

Interesting blend from Paso Robles.

Spices and herbs on the nose, with floral notes, metals, cherries, red berries, cloves and black pepper.

Smooth on the palate, with blueberries, unripe cherries, white pepper and cloves.
Medium finish with tart cherry.

Might be just over the hill, so drink now if you have any. 13.5% alcohol by volume

The 3rd wine of the night deadens the taste buds, but I think it was clear that this wine did not have the balance, structure, or taste of the other 2. I've enjoyed Liberty School's Cabernet over many vintages. Their Cuvée is not worth the $15 spent; many other wines in that price range worth a second bottle. Cheers!
