The 2022 Pinot Noir opens with a mentholated freshness, mixing wild berries and sage. It’s juicy and round, with vividly ripe red and blue fruits swirling throughout. The 2022 leaves youthful tension with the mouth watering for more as hints of licorice fade. $16.00 (Eric Guido, Vinous, January 2024)

Tonight I have opened the 2018 Acrobat Pinot Noir. The Acrobat Winery of Eugene, Oregon was acquired a few years back by Foley Family Wines.

On the nose there is cherry, cranberry, strawberry, raspberry, clove, vanilla, baking spice, mushroom and earth.

On the palate I am getting cherry, cranberry, raspberry, cinnamon, baking spice, oak, forest floor and earth.

This is a medium bodied wine with a smooth mouthfeel medium + acidity and medium fine grained tannins which gives way to a medium to long red fruit spice earthy finish. Have a great week ahead and please stay safe and healthy. Nostrovia! 🍷🍷🍷🍷

Tonight I have opened the 2018 Acrobat Pinot Noir. King Estate Eugene, Oregon.

Onnthe nose there is cherry, strawberry, raspberry, spices, chocolate, vanilla and earth.

On the palate there is nice notes of cherry, strawberry, raspberry, cola, herbs, spice, clove, forest floor and earth.

This wine is medium bodiedwith medium acidity and medium + fine tannins which moves seamlessly into a medium to long fruity earthy finish. Here it is Thursday evening moving into the weekend and this wine really sets the tone. A quality wine that at this price point is a wonderful QPR. Please lets start the weekend off with love and happiness and enjoy each others company. Please stay safe and healthy. Nostrovia! 🍷🍷🍷🍷

Smoky and reductive, giving way to lovely floral, red-fruited quality. Spicy on the palate with strong mint flavor and excellent freshness and acidity. I’m fond of this style and it’s a very fine value for Oregon AVA.

Thin, dry, light fruit. Could drink as a patio pounder by the pool if you chilled it down.

Weird. Char and caramelized notes. Not integrated in mouth.

Great Oregon Pinot Noir for an affordable price. Rich, fruit forward, medium bodied. Great with or without food.
