We mistakingly bought this Russian River Pinot versus the Central Coast Pinot. It was dry and bland. Definitely would not purchase again.

Nothing mind blowing here. Solid entry level Russian River pinot. Fruit forward, light body, easy drinking. But <$20 for an easy going half-price wine night with a burger at the corner pub... Ill be there again next week.

The nose is wet and not as dry as a California wine. Color is a vibrant and light red, very fruity smell reminding me of strawberries or raspberries freshly picked with a light note of French oak afterwards. The taste is as light as the color mostly consisting of fruits and a classic Pinot noir. So far, so good.

Medium intense nose, not very complex. Round, simple taste with noticeable alcohol in the medium finish. Correct, but lacks complexity. 24 euro, 2012 vintage. Owned by E. & J. Gallo apparently.
