Purato Sicilia Nero d'Avola

Very smooth, not bitter, not too sweet - eddy doesn’t like the bitter aftertaste

Medium ruby in color; cherries, tabaco, and pepper on the nose; high acidity; medium plus tannins; tastes like black plums, black cherries, and maybe licorice with a long finish. Nellie doesn't Iike it. It's a little to sour for her tastes, but I think that's part of this wine's charm.

The raspberry nose on this is actually quite nice. For me, this is stewed raspberry and cranberry crumble. There's a nice baking spice savoriness and dark chocolate as well.

Crisp and well balanced. Not too sweet and not too fruity. We here drinkin’ in the Juke Joint!

Stewed fruit, ceanberry and a little spice on the aromatic high notes (just a whisper), brighter on the palate clean finish.

Berries, light, a little pleasant tannin at the end

Bright, juicy and sweet...also all organic.

Light body, fruit forward. A little too thin and sweet for my taste

Too fruity and strong on the nose.

Slightly too fruity for me.
