Another great Portuguese red, full of flavour and great with a rustic chilli con carne, will be adding a couple of these to the wine rack.

What a nice surprise, opulent, juicy balanced and what a bouquet, It's even a bit more than 4 stars IMO, especially vs price. Danish/American coop from 1988, good reviews from J.Robinson, Varieties: 40% Aragonez (Tempranillo), 35% Syrah, 15% Touriga Nacional, 10% Petit Verdot. Cherries 🍒 and violets, sweeter cheers in palate (RS 4,4g), subtle oak, soft tannins and medium acidity, body feels also medium and it's on the fruity side. Fresh, and I would love to try more wines from Cortes de Cima - interested

Beautiful. Half Syrah. Half Portuguese Tempranillo. Golden ruby color. Leather. Spice mid palate. Unique fruit. Incredible bouquet.
