Awesome Friday night burger wine. Super solid for $13

Cheap and cheerful Grenache that I'd class as interesting in a good way. The nose is funky...earthy, damp soil notes interlaced with bramble fruit. But then, then, a singular and clear candy note of butterscotch that carries over into the palate with all of the assertiveness of a Werther's Original. This against bold acidity and ample structure. This is a great under $15 summer barbecue wine.

Wine recommended by Bacaro Kitchen owner. What I would expect for a Grenache. Nothing to hurry back for.

Dark berries and fruit on the nose, with a juicy flavor, chewy body and a briny finish

I mean, I'll drink water with dinner. Popcorn wine. Easy with little substance.
