Dark fruit with plenty of depth. To be placed in a decanter a few hours before enjoying it fully!

Strawberry snow cone nose that evolves into cherries in the winter forest. Big bold thoughtfully sun-ripened berries. Solid herbal full mouthfeel across the finish. Perfect Napa Pinot.

Slightly oaky but first taste is nice all in all.

Toasty oaky taste and aroma surrounding dark cherry, rhubarb notes

Strawberries and chocolate coming out...

And...mushrooms!

And more balanced with opening; dark, dry fruits rising over the initial blast of oaky notes.

Excellent compliment to balsamic-glazed pork chops. Had a depth of flavor that enhanced the dining experience and had a spiciness, almost ginger-like.

Was totally expecting this to have gone bad, as it has been stored since 2011, when I bought it at the vineyard and not always in a proper wine rack. But to my surprise it was as delicious as I remember. The wine that made me fall in love with Pinot Noir.
