sweet raspberry & cherry, pepper, lavender, menthol, iron. elegant and integrated with lots of time ahead of it. from mag 🍒🪻🧲🥲

Oct 19th, 2017Sierra Foothills Syrah from a favorite producer. The 09 is more subdued and even than the 08. Sage, black currant and bramble with a leathery, integrated tannic finish.

Wonderful over the hump red. Big and bold with cassis, anise, fig and olives(?). Mellower tannins than I was expecting. Great red from the Sierra Foothills and Bill Easton!
