This ain’t half bad. Maybe I just like to lavish out reasonable marks, but it’s a crowd-pleaser. Lemon rind, roasted almonds and roasted nuts on the nose lead to a weighty, sweet mid palate. Lacking acidity along with a relatively short, exotic finish, I’m willing to overlook its fault lines, cos overall it’s good.

Crisp, clean and mineral, this is a barebones style of chardonnay that I really enjoy. The nose has an orange peel, yeast and honeycomb complexity to it that follows through on the palate, which is decently full and crisp. I love this style of chardonnay.

No heavy handed treatment here which I appreciate. Bright, clean an minerally with complementary fruit. Well done for $13.

Dang good Chard, not super complex but very drinkable. Been open sitting in my fridge for 3 weeks or more. Must’ve sprayed it. Every time I think I’m over Pali drinkers they pull me back in.

Crisp citrus that is strong at the start. Finishes quickly but with a smooth ending

Crisp and acidic, this was not a buttery chard like I expected - under ripe stone fruit and citrus flavor, not oaked. Would be better if the fruit had more emphasis.
Was OK but for $20 I would hope for more, and would prefer Butternut to this.

Certainly the alternative to raving about buttery Chards. Shy nose, pale unobtrusive view through the glass. Mineral and crisp with even flavors start to finish. I enjoy the result of an alternative Chardonnay production. The dog would prefer a passing chipmunk.
