Their Clone 685 Cabernet Sauvignon is from the Red Head Vineyard on Old Soda Springs Road in southeast Napa Valley. Plush, perfumed and inky, with that keep-coming-back-to-the-glass savoriness. Lush and hedonistic, but with layers and length. Stellar!

Jan 11th, 2019Maybe in 10 years, but now it’s so harsh, acidic, and tannic that it is unpleasant to drink. I can feel the quality and power underneath the surface of this wine but it likely won’t emerge until 2030.

Opened on Friday & left it at the warehouse fridge until today 🤷🏼♂️
Strong wine but for $100.00 I can name a dozen other 2013’s I would buy instead. Nice experiment though. Very tight on Friday, opened up today after warming up.
