This was pretty muted at least initially. Crisp and refreshing with orchard fruit, wet stones, a bit of smoke, but with a depth hinting at lots more to come with time. Would wait or give it a decant

Great, young Dagueneau Mont Damnè- powerful and dense yet bright and shimmering. Tons of extract and texture. Also, these bottles are so damn heavy.

1st tried this with Louis-Benjamin in Pouilly, was really intrigued at the time, great to finally see some in the market, reminds me of a more mineral driven Cotat, with the backbone of Buisson Renard, needs to be decanted.

09 vintage. The richness of this is stunning. Like a big bowl of grapefruit and papaya custard, with a sprinkle of salt and a little candied lemon zest for good measure.

I really wanted to poo poo on this wine- overhyped Sancerre right? Wrong! Holy f**k! Freshly tapped Coravin pour- almost briny green olive, lemongrass, lemon curd, grapefruit sorbet, limestone, Himalayan pink sea salt. Pleasant and enticing nose but my god this explodes on the palate unlike any SB I've had. Layers of citrus cream and savory mineral undertones. Feels like I'm drinking a Chablis. What is happening?!?
