The 2012 Petit-Figeac is everything its name says it is. Wonderfully perfumed and expressive. The 2012 is supple, precise and beautifully delineated from start to finish. Silky tannins and a mid-weight sense of structure give the 2012 its classic feel. Scents of lavender, mint and white flower add an attractive aromatic top register. The Petit-Figeac is one of the hidden gems. Drink it over the next 10-15 years. (Antonio Galloni, Vinous)

Beautiful warm and deep fruit. Balsamico, black cherries and shoyu. The nose is uplifting with cassis and boysenberry. Tannins are totally integrated and the oak is subtle. Equilibrium explained.

First try: drunk it too young, needs to hold.
Second try more than a year after: pleasant fruit, but won’t hold forever. More Cabernet Sauvignon in the mix than Figeac. 13% vol

Nothing Petit here. Powerful, dark fruited Bordeaux. Mocha dusted plums & cedar/oaky aromatics. Has some grip, but is completely approachable. Very good.
