Pearl Nigori Junmai Ginjo Sake
Creamy without being oily. Slight tropical citrus burn on the end. Stands up against soy sauce, so good for pairing with sushi.

Feb 24th, 2017The 18% abv is noticeable right up front. The nose is pretty straight forward, a hit of fresh light fruit, almonds, and the alcohol, sweet but slightly overpowering the other smells. The body is nice, it has a very fine creamieness that gives an almost velvety feel. Tastes of apple and sharp fresh fruit on the palette, with an under ripe plum/apricot finish that lingers for a good while after swallowing. Very good overall.

Oct 31st, 2016Not overly creamy. Medicinal and overly aromatic when heated. Chilled it showcases a nice tropical fruit palate with a little bite.
