Very pleasant and nicely focused, classic flavour profile. All in balance; just somewhat shy in terms of personality.

Pop and pour. Notes from several hours open. On the nose: soft pineapple, lemon, tarragon, grilled nuts. On the palate: lovely acidity and density, savory notes, grilled hazelnut, lemon oil, stone; fantastic minerality. Long finish. Lovely.

Pop and pour. Wow. On the nose: a touch of struck match, dense lemon, lemon oil, wet stone, filigreed fruit on minerality. So delicate, but simulateously powerful. Lovely density, crushed rock, lemon oil, fantastic acidity and a long finish. Fantastic, but so young. Sad this is no longer a monopole...doubt I will ever be able to afford the Lambrays version.

A bit too advanced to my liking but the concentration and the body still make it enjoyable.

Appreciation of wine is a personal thing for those of us uneducated as wine masters but this has been the most elegant poised and perfect Chardonnay I have tasted it had beautiful balance of fruit and oak, acidity and sugars it was way to young so perhaps as kiwi it was my new world palette but in no way was this a kiwi, Aussie or American Chardonnay it was white burgundy through and through

Fuller and fruitier than I usually like but well balanced with some vibrant acidity. Much better at just below cellar temp than above. Strong complement to a charcuterie plate with radishes
