This wine is unapologetic for being a bully.
Dark golden in color. White orchard fruit, pear, toasted brioche. Still somewhat tightly wound up.
It’s got another 4/6 great years in it.
ABSOLUTELY my favorite Chardonnay from Luc thus far!! Highly recommended. EDIT- just can’t believe how much better this is tasting then his prior vintages. EDIT- Never have had to edit something twice. It’s even better.

Another 4th Friday for the books, and one of the best of the year!
I think this was my white wine of the day; insane! Sweetened popcorn kernel, butterscotch, lemon meringue pie; incredible complexity; honeyed walnuts and lemon tart. A top end west coast Chardonnay.

Reminds me of the Marcassin with more depth. More grilled pear and grapefruit notes. Some nuttiness to it. Lemon peel with a creaminess to it. Wow! White of the day?

13' Morlet Coup De Coeur Chardonnay. Luc is the man. This is a Chardonnay I recommend throwing it in a decanter for an hour. Tropical explosions, great balance & just the perfect amount of acidity. LOVE this❤️! The best selected barrels each year. Many more great years in it. Edit- The last glass was better then the first. I hate that. 96+ points all day!
