A breath of fresh air from this region known for bogged down oaky whites. Fresh and balanced with wonderful acid and stone fruit. $40, 2015

Toasty, vanilla, oak but still crisp and not overly rich or buttery.

This is an unusual one for me. If tasted blind I might not guess Chardonnay. It has a profile of stone fruit and mineral, and some hints of vanilla and oak, but there is an overwhelming cloying sweetness on the super long finish. Reminds me of butterscotch and cotton candy. Can't decide if I like it. $14.99 at Vin Chicago sale.

Steel then cream my delicious juice. Not heavy, but full and rounded. Really impressive
