Boring and foursquare on the first glass, but came alive after an hour. Truffle, fresh red licorice, Cherry, and a whif of cigar box on the nose. Palate is soft with more cherry and a Soft white pepper on the finish. Not bad, not great. What you'd expect from old vine mercurey.
