So today I purchased 38 bottles of wine ranging from California, chile, France, Washington, and Argentina from a distributor and friend. This wine from Neuquen - Argentina was the first I opened. I poured a little to taste and let the rest air out for 45 mins. Typically you do this with older wines to let them breathe but thought I'd give it a go. The berry/fruit taste definitely comes through, as does a slight taste/smell of rubber (reminds me of a rubber band). The color is lighter then some of the others I've had. Overall I enjoyed this wine for the price and would drink it again.

Earthy tones and sweet plums. Perfume, violets and licorice show up as well. Nice cut of oak on the finish. Clean acidity and very little tannin. Nice sea food wine.

Sweet spices. Diluted mouth, lack of integrity. Very spicy and some candy-sugar sweets.

my very best pinot, this time from patagonia. first impression is the colour. it’s that light i could consider this is a pink wine. nose is not strong but the taste is surprisingly good: strawberry, earthy, oaky, mineral. fresh and smooth. good for summer, on a terrace… no food pairing, just sitting with friends, talking and drinking;-)

Easy to drink, open a pour. Nice minerality to the nose and great flavor on the front end. However the finish is short and its a bit one noted.

Mucha fruta, a pesar de ser 2011. Buena estructura y acidez tambien.

Great light summertime BBQ red. Smooth tannins, dark cherry and raspberry with a peppery, smokey finish. Pretty hot at 13.9%
