Vieilles Vignes Pouilly-Vinzelles Chardonnay

We’ve been loving the ‘13s and 14s from Valette and this was a beauty! Supple, textured and super complex - 2013

Мокрая шерсть, солома, битый камень, крепкие желтые яблоки, консервированный ананас, бледная курага, семечки, каперсы, заветренный мёд, сухотравье. Среднее тело с хорошо сбалансированной кислотностью. Вначале чуть закрыто и плоско, но подышав открывает красивую фруктово-минеральную фактуру с заметной глубиной. Естественно и органично. В аромате больше смахивает на шенен, чем на шардоне.

Some fino and sea spray on the nose with a rich, round and full palette. Will be fun to follow - 2012

Needs several hours of air to emerge, wasn't able to last that long so my rating is an estimate !

Oxydatif, sans fond

Amazing palate but a bit reductive on the nose at this moment.

Big wine that started off very good but seemed to turn great with time in the decanter. Big bodied, great acidity, complex and a long finish.

Massive wine. Loads of lemons and mineral, clearly aged for a long time on the lees in old barrels. Huge acidity, big body, long finish.

Ganska mycket alkohol i doft. Friskt å syrligt i övrigt.

Great wine , white Beaujolais!
