A but rustic but the fruit is going strong and this is excellent for a Tuesday night with braised brisket. Old school sensibilities. Wild Blackberries. Medium extract, good freshness. — 2 months ago

Orange Aglianico from San Benito County (inland, east of Monterey - some good mountainous/granite terroir down there). Clean. Solid. 11.5%. High acid. Tastes like sweet tarts. Long broad finish. — 2 months ago
13%. Not the most concentrated or complex wine but impeccably balanced. Fruity but not overdone. Plenty of earthiness. A little hit of tannin and smokiness on the back end. Slight astringency. Burgundian is played when talking about Bierzo but you really can’t help the comparison. These guys are making wine the right way. Chug city. Raul Perez’ nephew, apparently. — 2 months ago

Lean and a bit tart. Red fruits a little hazy barrel spice. Cool disposition. Delicious. Edit day two: fleshes out a bit. Increased score. — 4 days ago
