Way too much alcohol in my opinion, although the wine does show a surprising ability to balance it. Fair amount of sediment in the first glass, but this wine definitely has more aging potential. A very faint change in color at the edge of the rim to denote age, yet the wine remains a deep and opaque purple towards the center. I can imagine another 10 years of aging would do well. — 7 years ago
