Not a terrible price at 99 bucks on a restaurant list... probably closer to 75 for a better value. On the nose, pencil shavings, leather and earth. In the mouth, earthy red fruit, some secondary flavors and good acid. Some unresolved tannins. Good mid palate, medium-long finish.

Sep 29th, 2018Honestly a pretty good wine for the price on a fancy steakhouse wine list. Nicely aged and so the slightly raisiny and other secondary notes are starting to come through. Good minerally core as a St Julien.
