Domaine Reserve from old vines. Good balance of dry and fruit. A better red than you might expect from Wisconsin. March 2018. — 7 years ago
Good, leather notes, dry red. Had with Carrie & Dan in MA with lamb chops. Nice. — 8 years ago
Never tried Wisconsin wine. Amazingly good! 2005 at L’Etoile, very special — a year ago
Love how dry it is! — 7 years ago
From the Lombardy region of northern Italy, this is made by the wollersheim winery winemaker phillipe's younger brother Jean-Francois Coquard. Fantastic and approachable table wine. It goes great with good, particularly fatty, red meat. The beets are very present in both smell and taste. Notes from the maker: full-bodies red with aromas reminiscent of eucalyptus, red beets, little berries and notes of almond on the finish. Made from their estate-grown Italian Bonarda grape. — 8 years ago
Refreshingly dry with slight berry taste. — 5 years ago
Crisp. Some mineral taste. Nice balance of sweet and tart. Has a tart/fruity finish. Starting to be more green apple as I drink more. — 6 years ago
Fruity at first but dryness ultimately wins. January 2018. — 7 years ago
