A little flabby, and not very exciting. Fruit forward, with young red jammy flavors. — 9 years ago

It's a little tannic and crisp upon first opening. Giving it a little time to breathe really helps to bring out its true nature. Very smooth, hint of green pepper, blueberry jam, some baking spices (vanilla is prominent). A truly balanced wine and an excellent choice. — 9 years ago
Great table wine. Easy drinker. — 9 years ago
Very delicious. High tannins balanced out by dry to off-dry and medium body. Great structure. Every sip produces a new flavor. Dark, dry berries lead to a soft floral finish. Lingers on the palate. Would pair exquisitely with a fatty steak, lightly seasoned. — 9 years ago
Fantastic, dry riesling - slightly oily on the tongue, light minerality. — 9 years ago

From the Lombardy region of northern Italy, this is made by the wollersheim winery winemaker phillipe's younger brother Jean-Francois Coquard. Fantastic and approachable table wine. It goes great with good, particularly fatty, red meat. The beets are very present in both smell and taste. Notes from the maker: full-bodies red with aromas reminiscent of eucalyptus, red beets, little berries and notes of almond on the finish. Made from their estate-grown Italian Bonarda grape. — 8 years ago
