Smooth. Well balanced. Less body than typical Howell Mt but a great value at this price point especially for a mountain cab. — 10 years ago
Very pleasant Shiraz. I opened the bottle knowing it was from a Hunter Valley winery but the first mouthful revealed its true colours. Fruit sourced from Langhorne Creek, McLaren Vale etc. Will definitely buy again — 10 years ago
Good, but not as good as pernicious (granted that’s a high watermark, but still) — 6 years ago
Great value compares well to Cakebread — 8 years ago
I'm partial to Mt. Breeder wines, so naturally I found this one to be quite good. Not as mine rally as most wines from this hill. A bit more fruit. — 9 years ago
The balance on this wine sets a watermark for CA Chard in general. — 10 years ago
Had this at Watermark Beach Resort Restaurant, paired well with steak. — 7 years ago
Cleaning out some old bottles from my kitchen. Boy, I wish this magnum was still full! Excellent stuff! — 8 years ago
Light with dark fruit flavours and hints of oak. Great wine from a little known (for now) and fantastic winery. — 10 years ago

The wine critics were bang on with the Lewelling 18’s. The estate cab is much better than the Wight, at least in my opinion.
This is still very good, but the Wight bottling already set a high watermark that was not approached here. — 2 years ago
