Dark straw yellow yellow. Aromas of orange, vanilla pudding, lemon custard and white flowers. Medium acidity and a gorgeously creamy mouthfeel. Flavors of orange, vanilla and walnuts. This is an interesting expression of our fave Turkish grape. Much more ripe, with dark cherries instead of the usual raspberry/strawberry. Plus maple and chocolate notes, and I swear bacon on the finish at first, but that dissipated after an hour open. Altogether lovely, but as usual for the region, sadly much too expensive for what you get. — 8 years ago

First Turkish wine I've had. Lovely Pinot noir like qualities: sour cherry, pop in your mouth strawberry and bright acidity. A summer red as its light in body and could take a slight chilling down. Reminds me a bit of a Beaujolais. — 10 years ago
