Restricted Yverdon Vineyard Cabernet Franc 2012

First vintage of this wine from Winemaker Chris Carpenter and it didn't disappoint. Yverdon is a classic Napa unrated for those of us who remember the old Yverdon label and this wine pays homage to the roots of the vineyard. — 8 years ago

Xtra Cab Cabernet Sauvignon

v18. Very good, very young. Lot of goodness waiting to break out.. smoked meat and oregano nose. Rich, bold black fruits , with hints of currant and cassis. Bright , slightly tight, swirled chocolate finish. Enjoyable and will certainly balance out. Good entertaining and food wine. — 3 years ago

Private Reserve Meritage Blend 1989

Still drinkable. I always considered 89 very unrated for Napa Reds. Should have drank it 5 years ago but still enjoyable 🍷 — 10 years ago

Alloy Wine Works

Hans Gruner Edna Valley Gruner Veltliner 2016

Are you friggin' kidding me?!? Best canned wine I've had to date. Also confused about the Delectable rating system as only 1/6 reviews has this listed at 8.9 with the remaining being higher or unrated. Edna Valley Gruner at Federspiel level ripeness. Lime, white peach, grapefruit pith, and a hint of bubblegum. Buy a can of this while it's around. — 7 years ago
