2017 vintage. Surprisingly good and lacking any of the oxidation that sadly plagues whites from this part of the globe. Chamomile and orchard fruits on the nose, also on the palate. Perfectly ripe pear, yellow and green apples, white nectarine, lime flesh, a little mineral phenolic bitterness, dandelion and chamomile flower, nondescript light herbal note. — 4 years ago
Dry. Delicious. Fruit. A little vinegary. — 7 years ago
Definitely my first wine from Bosnia, and it’s good! Balanced, with some interesting bitter oakiness under the acidity. Dry and a little dank. Strong yellow color. Musty finish. Not like anything I’ve had before. With Matlaw’s stuffed scallops and a simple salad. — 4 months ago
Probably the best blatina I‘ve tried so far. A masterpiece made of blatina grapes. Oaked for two years, dark ruby colour, black fruits with intense vanilla flavour, concentrated, dense, powerful, masculine, but still rather balanced. Very long aftertaste. — 6 years ago
Primarily the unique Blatina (Interesting grape-85%) with some Vranec (10%) and Alicante Bouchet (5%) blended in. Deep ruby color. Aromas of sour red fruits (cranberries and pomegranates), earth, dried flowers and herbs. Pallet if full of sour cherry and raspberry flavors along with that earthy component. No oak. Long finish. Extremely smooth tannins. Enough acidity to maintain balance. Interesting and delicious! Thank You Ron B! — 2 years ago
