This is a private label called Villa De Nardi and the wine is called: IL Terzetto. It’s a blend. Cab Sauv, Sangiovese, and Cab Franc. Made in Winters, CA. Comes out inky dark. Smells like caramelized fruits, tar and black licorice. Flavors are very interesting. For sure a berry and plum component. But plenty of licorice root, tonic herbs and mint. Finish has mocha and chocolate stuff. This is lovely big boy CA red wine. Balanced and inviting. Fun too. Once in a lifetime blend. — 10 days ago
