My favourite wine. — 5 years ago
This is the first time I've had this Rasenna wine. I am actually THOROUGHLY impressed by this wine. The nose is sweet, tropical fruit. The entry has the SLIGHTEST HINT of effervescence. Tropical fruit, rounded, rich. Acidity is actually rather low. The middle gains a little bit of kiwi and a lemon creme brulee. Finishes with vibrant tropical mango and guava, grapefruit, acidity really still in check. This one went well with grilled pork and a salad consisting of cheddar cheese, apples, nuts, shallots, cilantro and kale topped with an Italian Cilantro dressing, but it also went very well with NOTHING. I would love to try this entire lineup, and perhaps with the next round I will! Combo of 30 Trebbiano, 30 Grechetto, 20 Malvasia, 15 Verdelho, and 5 Drupeggio — 6 years ago
Easy drinking. Fine. — 3 years ago
Compared to an Oreno consumed the night before, this one was missing a bit more. It was better with food than on its own. The wine poured with a slight violet color. Nose and front palate of sweeter, slightly black fruits with a hint of fig. Medium + density. Gains a hint of plum with a grit and a tannic finish that is subtle but noticeable. I am not sure this is made to do anything but drink now. — 6 years ago
Wow, what a treat. Bro-in-law went to Italy and stopped here. Had a case shipped back. Wow this wine! Everything here is green! Pours a light pale yellow. Nose of herb amd lime, with a granny smith apple. Entry is grassy, apple, lime, pear, rosemary! Finishes with an acidic tart character that makes you want to keep drinking.
