Brownish red color. Earth, strawberry, and cherry. Acidic with softer tannins. Like a Chianti with some of the idiosyncrasies smoothed out. Good, but not transcendent especially given the price. Brunellos really lend themselves to aging, so maybe 8 years old isn’t enough time to reveal what is going on. Also, I think this is my first Brunello, so I’m still getting to know the style. EDIT - later this wine started to take on a really lovely, silky quality that I really like. I think I’ve turned the corner. — 3 months ago
Medium ruby hue. Aromas and flavors of cherry, sage, tar, vanilla, and violet. Medium-plus body, with medium-plus tannins and high acidity. Lengthy finish. Meaty bouquet surprisingly similar to Northern Rhone Syrah. Rounded and plush. — 3 months ago
Solid Barbera. Good at pop and pour and two days later. Pleasant nose with raspberry and spice. Medium bodied with raspberry strawberry some cherry undergrowth some leather and pepper. Finish is medium length with tip of tongue dryness. — a month ago

Don't judge me for liking this. It's Delightful white blossoms and white nectarine nose. Superbly drinkable on its own, this is a great go-to for an outdoor patio spring summer social, it's a crowd pleaser that's several steps above and much more interesting than your Pinot Grigio's — 3 months ago

This wine shows the same magic as a 25 year Bordeaux. Still improving. — 2 months ago
The label hit it right on the nose, sunshine, lemon, rich, deep flavors with a salty tang at the end. Excellent wine. — 3 months ago
Lovely, but you MUST let it breathe! — 4 months ago
