Beautiful, as are all of Stoller's wines, but young. I feel will benefit from just a little more time in bottle. I reviewed the 2013 Reserve Chardonnay and preferred it slightly over the 2014. Even so, 2014 offers layers of sensory charm and is laden with just-picked peaches and pear tartan, topped off with a whiff of caramel and vanilla. On the palate, it's round and welcoming—peaches and cream followed by a subtle burst of lemon zest, dried pineapple, apricot and baking spice. Sample — 8 years ago

This ended up being a fantastic wine! Needed decanting for at least 2 hours. Steve 'broke the rules' by adding Syrah to this Bordeaux blend. Great, lingering tannins on the finish. Full concert as soon as the wine hits your mouth. And yes the 'spice' from the Syrah gave it great character!! — 7 years ago
