Pure, precise, linear & bone dry. Mineral & flinty with a pinch of salt. As if licking wet stones. The fruit play second fiddle. Begs for another sip/glass pretty serious stuff. — 4 years ago
Tangy, racy, citrus, touch bitter in the best way. — 5 years ago
Pale gold in color. Nose full of spicy, peppery peach and nettle. Some flinty/smokey notes too and a whiff of lemon peel.
On the palate taut and tightly wound around a core of steely lemon acidity, full of energy and minerality and a pinch of white pepper. This is a lovely Riesling - so pure & focused. — 2 years ago
Stahl's Feder "Spark!" (Not found on or correctly identified by Delectable.) Scheurebe (50%) and Riesling (50%) make up this German sparkler. — 4 years ago
Taut and full of energetic tension - exactly the opposite of the usual flabby, off dry M-T. Flinty green apples with a touch of grass & nettle. Bone dry with a salty touch. Very nice. — 2 years ago
Really loved this. Perfect balance of sweet and mineral. — 3 years ago
