St. Peter's is a craft brewer who have a good reputation for quality beer. This one is a staple of the good folks in Suffolk with English Pale malts and ever popular Challenger and Goldings hops. This gives a pleasant traditional light English bitter with subtle caramel and toffee taste and aroma. Malt is light but distinctive as is the foamy head on this golden ale.
One for Summer ... and Spring and Autumn ... oh alright Winter too.

Crisp apply notes. Paired well with St. Peter's oysters from Nova Scotia. Lovely. — 9 years ago
Great Zin from Amador county! Open it a few hours before you drink it. High % of alcohol. Should pair pretty well with red meat such as venison. — 3 years ago
Funky farmhouse, not very sour and not super refreshing, Tasty though! — 10 years ago
Wow, really like this Zin. And it's perfect for the Pulled Pork I'm about to pull out of the slow cooker!! — 10 years ago

St. Peter's is a fine brewery, and this Plum Porter is a favourite of mine. Deep, dark with a smooth as stout mouth feel with lovely plum overtones. One for a cold, wet winter's evening with some Pie d'angloys and Ribiola Bosina soft cheese accompanied by fig, sweet chili chutneys and beetroot, charcoal, and wheat crackers. — 2 years ago
