This vintage is aptly named ‘Mardi Gras’ and is a blend of Cab Sauv and Cab Franc. The cab franc shines through on the spice filled finish. Another vintage that should age well for a few years. — 5 months ago

Really enjoyed, 1L. Domestique wine club Sept 2020. — 3 months ago
Gorgeous, a young Sophia Loren, classic beauty with pure beam of cherry fruit mingled with dried herbs, olive, damp Earth and almost a subtle minty & licorice note. Just the right amount of juicy acidity & tannins - so cohesive & balance like a Ballerina. Need more of this type of Chianti Classico in my life. Sang w/rigatoni in bison/zucchini/yellow squash ragu — 5 months ago
Dinner w Bryan and Katy at Crown Super Deluxe, a fancy Benihana w JAPANESE FRUIT TOMATOES and lobster that jumps off the plate and proper Japanese A5 Wagyu (not some American imitation shit). The wine: a Cab franc merlot that’s lighter than you would expect. A recommendation from the house that was a delicious end to the meal, and was perfect w the Wagyu. — a month ago
Dinner at have & Meyer orange with fruity honey notes that ends dry, with Karen Sophia and Jess — 3 months ago
Well balanced, silky and smooth cream. Ripe pear, lemon, grass. Dry with high acidity and medium + body. Flavors of butter, cream, green apple and lime on the palate. Very tasty and easy to drink. — 5 months ago

Funky for sure but not overwhelmingly so. The reports of tart cherry are spot. on. The Marigny never disappoints. — a month ago
