Surprisingly smooth and mellow. It’s nice for a blend and would buy again. Plus I like bourbon. — 2 years ago
Day 2. Different is trending here. Did a little digging and pulled this gem.
The 2009 Viña Tondonia Reserva, a blend of 70% Tempranillo, 20% Garnacho and 5% each Mazuelo and Graciano, matured in used American oak barrels for six years.
Elegance and value. Lively and fresh. Lot’s of life left for this one. Not a bad start for the year.

Really good.,Gift from Erik and Brenna — a month ago
"A traditional Australian blend combining the expressiveness of Shiraz with the defined structure of Cabernet Sauvignon. This full-bodied wine shows ripe dark fruit aromas, voluminous richness and plentiful tannins. " — 3 months ago
This wine is a medium-dark purple in the glass. Aromas of brambly cherry are adorned with anise, leather, pepper and clove notes. On the palate there is red fruit and oak spice with a savory coffee angle. The tannins are firm and the acidity is fresh. A lengthy finish leaves the savory aspect strongest. Pair with any beef or pork, or even a dish based in tomato sauce. — 2 years ago
Plummy, red and black fruit, cigar box, cedar, graphite, coffee, chocolate, med + to high acid, beautifully integrated tannin, long lingering finish. 7 years on it’s drinking great, can go another 10. — 2 months ago
One of my favorite wines! Love how crisp & easy to drink it is. — 3 years ago
Sipping Fine Wine
Blend of 83% Syrah, 14% Petit Verdot and 3% Malbec, deep Ruby red color with aromas of black fruits, baking spice and cedar notes. On the palate flavors of blackberry and ripe blueberry with pepper, oak, cacao and herb notes. Fine savory tannins, medium+ finish ending with fruit, oak and spice. Drinking well now, will improve!
