Surprisingly good. Starts out with pleasant reduction, white flowers and hay, plus a bunch of tingling minerality. Fruit is mostly citrus wi the some just ripe stone fruit. The palate has a great acid and a better viscosity then expected, without lees and with a touch of oxidation. Great stuff, chardonnay-Riesling blend for structure-florals with something else for body, if I had to guess, but could be way off. — 4 years ago

I got the XVIII (18 not 17). Nice! Drank by the glass at a restaurant, I was told it is little known grapes from California, I was expecting a kind of sin massale but I was surprised! Lightly colored, with good floral perfume and bright red food, good acidity and some earthiness that takes it away from pinot land, without any funk — 4 years ago
