Third night of Memorial Day weekend at Seabrook, WA. We’ve been drinking plenty of Spanish juice, but hadn’t had any traditionalists. This is by the numbers American oak with classic Tempranillo black & red fruit with some smoke & tobacco lead notes. Always a great wine. — 5 years ago

It’s a fantasy of mine to walk in to some small town grocery store in the middle of nowhere and find a row of first growths for $10
