2012 - this one I really like. Not expensive (Schaeffer CAP) but really good nose and nicely complex finish. Definitely will buy more. Excellent value. — 7 years ago
Another great effort from Schaeffer, young but promising and very drinkable now. — 11 years ago
2018 vintage. 100% Cabernet sauvignon grapes from a small vineyard in Blaye. First vintage vinified in the small winery in the town of Blaye by Clarissa Schaeffer and consultant Christian Prud'homme (Mouton Rothschild, Yquem) with "vinification intégrale". The result is spectacular. More density and complexity than any previous vintage, with perfect integration of the wood, impeccable balance and impressive length. Extremely hard to find (5000 bottles produced on average). The cult wine of Blaye. — 3 years ago

Tasty. Surprisingly sweet, a bit fruity, a bit floral. Tasted fresh, like a nice spring day. — 4 years ago

We tried this with a Schaeffer 1999… And decided Schaeffer needed more time… Was much darker and heavier in color — 3 years ago
