First impression is "flat," but really it's just dry mineral. The nose is wonderful - almost better than the taste, but misses the warm, mixed, summer fruit on the palette. Shaping up to be nice on its own.
Edit: If it would last longer, it would open up; fruit comes forward. Edit: Terribly disappointed that this was a unique vintage; savoring remaining bottles, as they deserve. — 7 years ago

Off the nose you can smell the berries. This is a very light red very accessible undecanted. Lots of flavor. A good summer red that is not too Healey and priced very well! — 8 years ago
