Turkovich Family Wines Yolo County Albariño 2019: Excellent acidity. Crisp taste. Clean refreshing flavors. Lemon. Lime. Stone fruit. A great, local find during our return drive from Lake Tahoe earlier in the year! Will definitely seek more out the next time I drive thru Sacramento. Comment below if you have ever tried Yolo County wine or any American made Albariño. Happy Sunday to all! Cheers🍷 — 3 years ago
Very berry- raspberry mostly with blackberry undertone, a very easy drinking wine, very good with salmon cod and shrimp and dinner with a friend! — 7 years ago
A curiosity from the Silvaspoons vineyard in Alta Mesa AVA (Sacramento County) from the mysterious Portuguese Alvarelhao grape, made by Matthew Rorick.Transparent ruby, purplish at the rim. Very aromatic, violet-like nose, reminescent of Brachetto. Amazingly elegant in the mouth, medium-bodied, with red currant, velvety tannin and fresh acidity. Long finish with retronasal violets. Impressive. 2014 vintage, abv 13,12 %, 27 euro. — 8 years ago
