Had with Brian and Fred at Oak and Rowan. Truly delicious. Ate with a trout. — 6 years ago
2003, decanted, no sediment at all. Beautiful color. The nose was incredible. So much vanilla, cigar box. Wish it had been a magnum. Shared by my father to welcome my son Asher. — 2 years ago
Caorunn is crafted in a whisky distillery – Scotland’s Speyside’s Balmenach – one of the first distilleries to be licensed in the production of Scotch whisky in 1824.
Caorunn has 11 botanicals. The main five Celtic ingredients – rowan berry, bog myrtle, heather, coul blush apple and dandelion leaf. These five main botanicals enhance the remaining six traditional botanicals. This special mix of botanicals results in a crisp well balanced dry gin. Although there are hints of citrus, apple, spice and juniper... the flavors are subtle and smooth. For enjoyable G&T options serve with a garnish of choice. Excellent! — 4 years ago
Asher bought this Morgon for Louis. It’s delicious — 5 years ago
This wine was a big hit last evening with Asher after he got a pinky-taste. This morning he asked for “wine please.” (Uh-oh) While I’m inclined to reward such politeness it seemed a bit early in the day. The wine itself? A bigger and more forward style of Chardonnay than I normally gravitate to but can’t fault the quality and balance. The grapefruit, lemon curd, pineapple creme brûlée and moderate toast should meld beautifully with some more time. — 6 years ago

Had when rowan and hannah were down for their race. Rich and tangy. Let it breath and really enjoyed it — a year ago
