PnP. Better than most single Vineyard Cabs from Sequoia Grove. Dark red color. Dark cherries and anise, with subtle baking spices. Medium depth but finish was lacking. Better than expecting. — 2 months ago

Vineyard sits on Willakenzie soils in the heart of the Yamhill Carlton AVA. Ruby red color with aromas of red and black fruits and spice, aged for 10 months in French oak. On the palate flavors of black cherry and raspberry with tobacco, herbs and earthy tones. Full-bodied, fine tannins, balanced, medium finish ending with big earthy spice notes. Nice now! This was great! 1hr+ decant. Dark red color. Dark fruit and rustic elements on the nose. Palate reminded me of all those great Bordeaux’s we had with dinners in London! Medium plus depth and medium finish, that had a high quality taste to it. Awesome!

This is Sequoia Groves entry level Napa Cab, but it punches well above its price point. At 5 years old it was a Lucious, fruit forward cab that paired well with a variety of food, especially red meat. Nice nose, It Also enhances the flavor of chocolate. Very approachable wine. Better than I expected - really quite nice. Somewhere between a nice villages burgundy and a very good Beaujolais- has some spice and fresh fruit to go along with some good earth and bitter notes. Pretty seamless. Would not have guessed this is at almost 8 years. — 7 months ago
